For those who don’t want to dance on social media

Get Trendie was born out of a need to bring smarter, strategic advice to those working in social media, so that you can create great content that generates real business results.

Why us, why now?

Sensible advice about social

The attention economy means we’re all fighting to be heard. Naturally, this means most brands and social media managers are tempted by click-baity, gamified tactics in order to get a bit of extra reach. We believe the best advice about social media is realistic, actionable and grounded in sound marketing principles.

Letting the data do the talking

Creativity is one arm of social media strategy, but we also believe brands need data they can harness. Data on which topics are trending online, how many users are looking for a service or product on social, and what percentage of social share a brand owns. We want to bring a new wave of impactful data to the social media landscape.

Advice given freely

You can pay to have us as an extended member of your team, but you can also get access to our expertise and insight for free. We’re generous about sharing what we know, and believe this makes for a “greater good” of advice on, and about, social media.

The people behind Get Trendie

Beth Gladstone

Beth Gladstone

Founder

Beth still remembers the day she joined Twitter in order to tweet Olly Murs, a young lad from Essex competing in the XFactor (he didn’t reply). Which means she’s worked in social media a long time, and has watched its evolution with a keen, critical eye. Beth’s marketing career has spanned running events, marketing teams and growth plays for B2B brands with a particular focus on content and SEO. As the founder of Get Trendie, it’s Beth’s mission to bring together her knowledge about what makes a brilliant SaaS product, her expertise in social media strategy and a passion for knowledge-sharing, to create the number one educator brand in the social media space today.

Who we work for

Most social media advice doesn’t cater to PR agencies, single person brands or B2B businesses.

When you don’t want to dance, you still need a social media strategy. One driven by data, insight and understanding of your unique audience.
